of Silverton's famous 4th of July parade!
Where: Start and Finish in Memorial Park (North end of town, Greene St.)
Distance: 10k, 5k
and a 2k fun run (or walk if you prefer)
Cause: All proceeds benefit the Silverton Youth Center!
Registration: Pre-register on July
3rd at The Wyman Hotel 3pm - 5pm. You can also register ahead, online.
Registration will also be available 6:30-7:15
a.m. on the morning of the race in Memorial Park. DON'T BE LATE!
Fee: $20/adult; $15/youth (under 18)
Description: An out and back over the river and through the woods - see map below. Runners and walkers will enjoy a scenic course in the cool temps of the San Juan Mountains. This fun run was created nearly 30 years ago by local runners for a six-pack of Pabst Blue Ribbon. For 2009, each participant will receive a blue ribbon and T-shirt (instead of beer).
